About the mi-vox player

What is a mi-vox player?

The mi-vox is a brand new alternative format music player with its own unique set of advantages. Launched in 2007, it is compact and lightweight, like a slim match-box. It is also low-cost, and has a massive storage capacity – a whole 60 hours of entertainment can be squeezed onto a mi-vox. Because they’re low-cost and pre-loaded, it means you can have a separate player for each audio book. If you lose one, you haven’t lost an expensive player and your whole audio collection. For this reason its great for children. Your child will have their own player for what they’re listening to –for education or entertainment – and if it gets lost or damaged its not such a problem.

Can I pause the story and carry on later with a mi-vox?

Yes, mi-vox has full bookmarking capabilities. It will automatically bookmark the story if you stop or turn off your mi-vox, and it will remember your bookmark even if you take the batteries out! Bookmarks can be cleared and re-set easily.

Why is mi-vox better than iPod?

The iPod is good for music, but the mi-vox is better for audio books. Downloading an audio book to an iPod takes time – maybe several hours – and uses up space. With a mi-vox you can save time and keep your iPod free for your music collection. If you want to keep your child entertained you don’t have to take the risk of lending them your precious iPod. Can a mi-vox be recycled?

Certainly! We pride ourselves on our green credentials. If you’re “done listening” to a particular mi-vox and no longer want to keep it, just return it to us using our freepost service and we can recycle all the componets to conserve resources and protect the environment. We’re a new company but our owners have been in this business for seven years as Audio Books Online and Entertainment Exchange, selling audio books in the form of CDs, cassettes and downloads. We are proud to lead the audio book industry with our innovative approach, and are the only distributor of the mi-vox in the UK and Europe. We have exclusive deals with the publishers of our mi-vox content.

Payment

Are there any extra charges?

There is a small shipping charge:

UK - £1.50
Europe - £1.75
Rest of the world - £1.95

Is it true I don’t pay straight away?

Yes, when you order your mi-vox through Google checkout we don’t take the payment straight away. We only take the payment when we’ve sent it to you.

What payment methods can I use?

Debit card, all major credit cards (except Amex), cheques from UK bank accounts, postal orders, international money orders, PayPal (contact us to pay using this method as Google Checkout does not support PayPal).

Delivery

If I buy a mi-vox, when will I get it?

In most cases UK purchasers will receive their order within two days, and buyers from outside the UK within seven days.

What if it doesn’t arrive?

If it doesn’t arrive after 28 days, please let us know and we will send you another one free of charge.

Refunds and Cancellations

What happens if I’m not happy with my mi-vox when it arrives?

We want you to be happy with your purchases.

Refunds will of course be given for broken, damaged or faulty goods, and we will endeavour to send a replacement by return, or offer a refund in full.

Please contact us as soon as you have a problem – we want to help!

What if I want to cancel?

You are also entitled to cancel the sales contract within seven days of the purchase being made, or seven days from receipt of goods, whichever is the longer.

To cancel any order, please contact us and we'll sort it out immediately. As soon as we receive the mi-vox, we will repay the full cost paid.
